Blooms!!

One of my favorite things about my street is that it's lined with the most gorgeous trees. Usually, they bloom in early April. This year, peek blooms on the first of May. I've spent 6 long months staring out the window at barren branches (well, and some snow covered ones, too). But now...
Beyond worth the wait, if I say so!

They are truly very lovely. Too bad they don't last longer before the leaves take over.

Well, that's bloomin' Boston....those trees are so lovely. Where I used to live in New Bedford we had those trees all along the western side of Buttonwood Park pond and it was lovely. The city should have a web cam overlooking that pond. It's usually very active with ducks, swans, geese, and people, even ice skating in winter and paddle boats in summer. I think it's the one thing I miss about New Bedford, if I could miss anything about that city. Glad you finally have your blossoms to look at.

So pretty! The only blooming trees I have are the citrus trees ... I'm not complaining ... the blooms are so small you might miss them, but you wouldn't miss the smell of oranges! Your trees are gorgeous ... lucky you!

I was just photographing blooms from this type of tree (which I don't know the name of) yesterday. It's so nice to see the flowers again.

They are gorgeous! Definitely worth the wait. I'm always amazed at how staggered our season can look in the same country. We are in full on green, summer. Springs blooms are just kissing your area!
