Brown.

brown can be more than boring.
brown is more than just blah.
brown is a color with variations.
do not be fooled by brown.
this color is dynamic and beautiful.
it takes a lot of brown.
to make the world go round.

Those stick houses are something else! Going through the photos they reminded me of the wooded area behind my house when I was a child. It was full of bamboo plants and other things including lots of poison ivy. However, we still ran around in our bamboo forest playing hide and seek. I bet we could have woven it together and made all sorts of things. These houses are cool.

I love all this texture. The stick houses are great - I wonder if the 3 Little Pigs know about them.

So very true. We have one of these stick houses a couple of hours away from me, and my plan is to go see it soon!

Hi Tamar,
Have always been a great fan of sticks.
And stones for that matter.
And, of course, Josephine, who is a little brown cat.

Great pics because here in California "Brown is the new Green" because of our drought.

Hey! Great stick houses! My kids would have loved playing in them when they were younger -- if kids are allowed anywhere near them, that is.

How creative! I was curious to see the big picture ... and there it was, in the end :)
Willow-tree branches are very pretty in color -a lot he shades from brown to burgundy red ... and how one can build almost anything from them!
