Minion Party Food

Ronan had his Minion themed party this weekend. We had way too much fun with Minion food items, all relatively easy to turn out!

Minion Pepper:
For a simple veggie platter decoration, I drew the eyes and glasses band and taped it to a yellow pepper - a two minute minion and Ronan loved it!

Minion Melon:
I saw this on pinterest and just had to make my own! I sliced off a sliver on the bottom to keep it from rolling around. I used a ball jar lid-ring for the eye, after shaving off the rind with a melon baller and drawing a sharpie eye (I dug out the ring location with a pairing knife). Then I went to town on the mouth. This also I shaved with the melon baller, then carved the teeth, and started digging out the center with the baller. It was a hit!!

Mini Minion Waffles:
Because the birthday boy, needed minion waffles! Mini waffles, some black icing, and a chocolate chip!

Minion Cupcakes:
These were just too fun to make. Standard cupcake mix, then yellow icing, black fondant for the band, mini-marshmallows halved for the eyes, and decorated with black icing to give them some personality.

Well, with that spread I'm sure everyone had loads of fun. You have patience to make all those cupcakes, and that pepper Minion was so clever.

Oh my goodness! I found some amazing fun ideas from your post and will definitely use them for my upcoming party. I wanted to organize my son’s 5th birthday party and he’s a big fan of anime movies. We planned to book one of Hollywood venues for him as a grand surprise and hope he will like it.

This stuff is so adorable! The cupcakes look delicious, but I think I love the creativity with the waffles the best. So much fun!!
