The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 33

The Good:
Year to date. 10,000 miles in one year. Boston to NH, 5 round trips to NY, Boston to VT, and tons of other travels around town. Wow!

The Random:

Among my close friends, it's a running joke that I can't eat anything. So when I went through old birthday cards while at home last week and came across this one from my 9th grade world history teacher I had a very good laugh!

The Fun:
I love jigsaw puzzles, but don't do them enough. I popped open one on Friday night and by Sunday at noon it was done!

I usually need a good snow storm to open up a jigsaw puzzle.

I adore the mileage picture. It makes my OCD happy on so many levels. And you can have the puzzles. I regret that I do not have the patience for them. Maybe the ones made for babies. With four pieces??

Love finding old notes or cards - especially when from my kids. Cute that you kept this one from a teacher. I can only imagine the miles if I checked the last year - or more, this year. I feel like I have been going, going, going, ... not complaining! You'll have to show a picture of the final product of the puzzle. I generally don't get into puzzles, but still have a winter one I bought when I was 20ish that I pull out and put together around the holidays each year. The kids briefly enjoyed the process and fortunately it wasn't a huge one, so it kept their interest.

I love the note - to funny. But awesome on the puzzle - I love them & wish more people would find joy in that.

I love finding old notes too...especially when they give me a laugh! You've traveled a lot!! I haven't done a jigsaw in awhile. Sometimes I'll work on one at the piano studio where my daughter goes (they leave one out in the waiting room sometimes)...they're not easy!

Great note. Blessing has a friend that has lots of allergies to not only food, but other things as well. Anything can set her off so I have not had her over here because I don't want to kill her.

My mom liked to do jigsaw puzzles.

I love puzzles, too...but my husband hates when I do them. I have one I've never done - maybe I should do it this week. It's going to be extra hot...

Hi Tamar,
Great shots. My mother used to work puzzles. She would sit for hours working on one. Thanks for the memory. Have a great day!

Yup. Puzzle lover here too! My daughter brought a BE-U-TIFUL puzzle home from Disney - Beauty and the Beast. We're thinking that, once we complete it, we might frame it for some future child's room. Since there is no such child yet, we have plenty of time!! Also - loved the mileage coincidence - crazy!

Wow! I can't believe you saved your birthday cards for that long! I have moved enough times that I would have lost them long ago-if I even saved them. Of course, I am older than you are, but still. It must be nice to go back and look at them.

You must have a good sense of humor! I have a ton of allergies and they don't amuse me. No cake for me!

How crazy is that--exactly 10,000 miles in 1 yr! I haven't done a jig-saw puzzle is ages. Might have to start one this winter. Love the night photography--some beautiful captures in your most recent post.

Bless your teacher for not only her sweet love for students, but for her humor. Glad you are a good sport and I hope you have a something to replace cake on that best date of the whole year. ;)
