"The wonderful thing about tiggers"

As a child, I was very active, very bouncy, but still a very kind and sweet kiddo. Eventually, my nickname Tigger was coined. I only liked this to be a "family nickname" because all my friends knew the Disney Tigger. The overactive extremely bouncy Tigger. I was afraid they'd type cast me.

I was the Classic Tigger. Bouncy, but sweet and caring. Confident in who he was. I still love this part of myself. And in the spirit of the new year, I am working on really accepting me and sharing myself with the world, down to this bouncy part of my personality.

I can still be bouncy, I am still energetic, and I am still kind and caring. I am Tigger. I am me!

I totally see that. You daringly, enthusiastically, and patiently met up with us girls when I was up in March. Filled with personality, at the same time very approachable; and though it was the first time meeting in person, it was natural. So yea, just enough Ti-double gir-er, with a smidge of Pooh, a hint of Piglet, and a splash of Owl.

I love how relevant Winnie the Pooh characters still feel to people's lives. I remember a friend giving me The Te of Piglet to read because I was feeling small and invisible (I'm still small, but I'm not invisible). So much wisdom to be found in those animals :-)
