Cajun Fish Stew

Once the temperatures drop and the leaves begin to change, I always make one of my favorite fall recipes: cajun fish stew. Super easy to put together, nice and light, and perfect for the chilly fall nights.
From start to finish it takes about an hour. It makes enough for several meals and tastes delicious over rice. The spices are perfect for warming you up on a cool night and make the kitchen smell divine. I bet it will become a favorite in your kitchen as well!
*note - the chili and chayenne can be strong! I start with a dash and add more if the heat is too mild - but kick it up if you like the heat!!

I always put cumin. chili, cayenne and turmeric in everything I cook. If it was not for the fish, this would be delicious. I am not a fan of fish.

That looks so hearty and comforting. I love soups and stews this time of year. I could have them nightly all winter long. I think the family would object, though.
