The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 40

The Good:
I was able to watch and capture the lunar eclipse! It was truly amazing to watch the red glow take over as the 3 planets aligned.

The Random:
This public art installation on the Hancock Tower began to take shape in the past few weeks, I took a trip to go see it - pretty cool!

The Fun:
I made some games to go along with our phonics lessons, perfect for a rainy Friday and early finishers moving forward. They were an instant hit.

I've often wondered how little rambunctious boys keep their yamakah on their heads. Now I know. Pin it. Simple.

Is that what that giant crane is doing? I can see the arm of the crane in the skyline from my house and have been wondering about it. I will have to take a trip into town to check it out. The lunar eclipse was amazing!

Well done on not only seeing but photographing the lunar eclipse. Any time you can make learning fun, you are ahead of the curve.

It was cloudy for us last Sunday so we couldn't see the lunar eclipse. I was so bummed. I did see lots of great photos of it though. The art at the Hancock building looks really cool!

Our view of the eclipse was masked by the clouds. :( Cool artwork too!

We had to settle for a few amazing glimpses between the clouds...the red was amazing! Have a great week :)

I'm so glad you captured the moon. We had a campfire & made s'mores while we watched & captured it. I actually picked up my camera for something other than work & used my new 150-500mm lens. It did a decent job but I had not captured the moon in so long I was quite rusty. Plus all my usual settings were not going to work being that it was so dark - I had to go against everything I would normally do for a moon shot. But it was fun to push myself again.

Hope you have a wonderful week Tamar!!

Games seem to be a great teaching tool. Now you can even use them on the computer.

You always leave me a bit envious with how much you get accomplished/and see each week! Bravo to you!

Hi Tamar,
Awesome shot of the moon, we were covered in clouds all weekend. Have a great day!

Great shot of the moon! I'd totally forgotten about it.

I watched part of the eclipse - but then went to bed because it was cloudy & I had no clue if I stayed up that late, if the moon would even be visible.
Good for you for catching it!

We did not get to see the eclipse here. Too cloudy. I am glad you saw it though.

Love the Patriots kippah! Here I have seen various Southern teams on kippas. Next week I get to participate in this meme again ...yay!

Cool moon shot and fun building. Looks like the kids enjoy your learning games which is great! Love the apple picking pictures in the next entry too. I need to take a run up to Apple Hill here.

I was so disappointed that I wasn't able to see the moon. The weather was so cloudy here there was nothing to be seen. Great picture.
