Fall has fallen

Fall has fallen in New England. More leaves on the ground than on the trees. The once vibrant hues becoming muted as they crunch beneath my feet.
The color that lingers, I savor. Soon the colors will be gone, the temperatures even lower, and inevitably a blanket of white will eventually cover the ground. But for now, fall is falling.

It's beginning to look more like fall has fallen here, too.

Beautiful photos, friend.

Things are pretty crunchy around here too. I'm always a little bummed when I realize that most of the leaves are no longer on the trees :(

You've captured it perfectly! Like you said the other day, there's a carpet of leaves just about everywhere!

Soooo pretty! I found my box of fall you sent me way back. Almost made me cry - so touching. It meant so much to me. :)

Ah yes beautiful fall. I miss the leaves crunching under my feet.

We are both feeling well today. It was brief, thank goodness.

Such lovely pics, and I love how there are still yellow leaves and nice colours outside.

This is one of the most beautiful phases of fall to me. It's fleeting, but beautiful. Looks like winter is just one gust of wind away!
