The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 3

The Good:
I kicked off my 'not quite 27 not quite 28' period with my Hebrew birthday on Friday - now just 6 days until I'm 100% 28. I was home on Friday and mom decided to celebrate!

The Random:
I was at a literacy conference on Thursday and they had fun flags to affix to your badge, all random and so fun.

The Fun:
We started our geometry unit this week, one of my favorites to teach. We used our new iPads to go around photographing examples of polygons in the building. Then we make Polygon Books in Book Creator, when they're all done we'll read the e-books to the Kindergarten and Pre-K classes!

Happy Birthday! Love those candles. Those flags were so fun at the conference. Classrooms these days look like a lot of fun! Well, yours does at least!

What a project - will be so much fun to read them to the kinder gardeners. Am envious and tickled at the same time they get to learn things before they're 10 y. old, that I just learned a few years ago!

and happy birthday to you!

i love that you countdown to your birthday - you'll find that with the years it becomes '30/40/50 something'. Geometry is a bad word in this house (even my math loving husband).

Tamar... thanks for keeping this meme going. I appreciate being able to show up whenever I have a chance... and you inspire me to get my camera out more frequently. Love the birthday cake & candles!

Geometry is so fun-my favorite kind of math. Love your pre-birthday candles. That train show looks amazing. The detail in all the New York landmarks is pretty incredible.

Happy 'almost birthday gone by' :) As you know it was my birthday last Sunday and we decided to spend it out in the Poconos, a getaway - it was great! I hope you're having a wonderful birthday, too.
