The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 8

The Good:
It was time for a new sofa. I'm super happy with my new one - really looks so great in my place and I was able to thoroughly enjoy it during February vacation.

The Random:
I use the amazing program called Class Dojo in school to positively manage behavior and communicate with families. Tuesday, I received notifications that a parent had sent me a message. It looks more like a kiddo got ahold of dad's phone and sent me some stickers, guess that means she missed me over break!

The Fun:
When we woke up Sunday am to air temps of a lovely -9 and windchill of -34 we decided we HAD to try the "throw boiling water into the air" trick. It's so cold it instantly turns to snow and ice!

ps. if you're so inclined...check out my 52Frames photo for this week and give it a like, if you like!

I love your couch as well - but your APARTMENT!!! It is adorable! I've seen little pieces of it here and there in pictures you post, but I think that is the most I've ever seen in one photo and it is so lovely!!! :)

Love the new couch - I am pretty sure that's the first time I have seen a full room frame of your space. LOVE it - I'm so drawn to the plants in the window. We have ours scattered throughout the house but I'm thinking I really like how you have them right there. Pretty!!!! I need to build a ledge they can sit on.

I am sooooo happy that the temps have climbed by so much. It almost feels like spring is in the air now!

Love the couch- your home is charming. I'd be inside snuggling up with a cup of tea on the new couch if it was that cold out - great experiment.

The neutral color of the sofa is perfect. I love your use of technology in education, as that is a perfect way to communicate with parents and kids. Too cold for me!

Your sofa looks super comfy! Yeah, that trick appeared on my feed at FB - couldn't try it out because the snow was already gone!
