The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 10

The Good:
Tuesday was Super Tuesday and primary day here in MA. I am a huge political nerd so it was like my playoffs (Election Day is the Superbowl...). I went to vote right when the polls opened and was the 16th person to submit their ballot for my precinct. I brought this campaign button my Zayda gave me in 2008. It made me all nostalgic for our chats about politics.

The Random:
My excise tax bill arrived Friday. I had to laugh at the return address. I find it hilarious that the PO box for my town is in Milford. About 50 minutes west of Brookline.

The Fun:
On Wednesday we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday. We read tons of Seuss books with the first graders. It was so sweet to see them working so nicely together. Dani and I of course had to dress up for the day!

Good job voting! I couldn't vote because we are a caucus state with caucuses on Saturday! No fair!

I read Dr Seuss to my grandchildren --they love his rhymes! I participated in a caucus for the first time this year in Colorado ---we had regular primary in NYC. I like the regular primary vote better--seems more fair.

Awesome on you for voting! I've got to figure out, once again, how/where to send my absentee ballot.

Never have I seen more of a circus of political campaign as with this group of candidates; I applaud the valiant effort to see through all the rhetoric and having a voice in our country's future. I still have all the kids' Dr. Seuss books - they never go out of style - just like that hat. :)

Rock the Vote! That's the one thing I miss about elementary schools, all the fun you have for every single holiday or famous person in time. I know your kids love you. Hey, have you received your Club W box yet? I noticed you signed up and i thank you for that. I hope you enjoy it!

Haven't been to the ballet in forever! What a fun opportunity. Yes, we all need to get out there and vote this election. It is kind of scary! Have a great week!
