I treated myself to seeing "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" at the swanky theater with the reclining seats and unlimited popcorn. It was adorable and a sweet follow up. I highly recommend.
The Random:
We had over 5 inches of snow on Monday. In April. After a dud of a winter. Uh....? I've worn my winter coat more this month than I did in March!
The Fun:
I was down in NY and got to see my uncle's new BMW. He let me get behind the wheel and take it out for a spin. Then he got behind the wheel and really took it for a spin. Whoa baby. This car is sweet!

That theatre looks luxurious! We have some of those popping up in South Africa too! Hope you get some spring soon!
Can't believe y'all had snow!!
I am so happy the 5 inches stayed north of us! We had snow all day but little accumulation. I love My Big Fat Greek Wedding so I will definitely watch #2.
FIVE INCHES???!?!!?!? No. Just no.
I want to see that movie. Saw the first one and really enjoyed it. I went to high school just over the NY/Ma line at the base of a mountain. Every year when we returned from spring break, we would have a two foot snowstorm either the night before or the day we returned to classes.
At the end of May you could still see snow patches in the heavily forested areas.
That bmw test drive must have been fun for you!! I really want to see that movie. I just watched the original with my girls not too long ago (younger one had never seen it). Snow in April..blah! We got some too but not as much.
I still can't get over the snow & what a cool theater!!!!
Now THAT looks like the way to see a movie!
the movie and the car sound fun...the snow not so much!
I enjoyed seeing My Big Fat Greek Wedding, so I'm sure the sequel will be fun to see. The car looks snappy and the snow....well how can I complain about that when we get so much of that in Colorado? Spring snow brings beautiful wildflowers!
The weather does seem to be a bit mixed up right now. We have another freeze warning for tonight. :-(
Don't mind winter coats, but the shoes and boots:)
Since I lived in L.A. for 3 decades, and the last place was a ... place, we saw nothing but BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus, Hummers in the parking lot. Our (then still pretty new) Maxima was the bottom of the totem pole. Not that it bothered me, but where I live now, it's the opposite, often the feeling we are over dressed, too nice of a car, etc. Life is never boring:):) Have a great week!
So agree about April! March was so pleasant and April is getting revenge!
This winter, spring, something is really very... random. I had to get out my winter jacket again. But I think it is finally warming up for good.
I used to own a BMW (a Z3) in Germany - fun! :)
We only had a dusting of snow. On Saturday we were driving around and it started to snow pretty hard but it melted instantly except in the mountains.
Look at that snow! Crazy!! I have heard that movie is super funny and great follow up. I'll have to catch it soon.
I didn't even realize that the sequel is already out! I so enjoyed the first one (I even have the DVD!) and will definitely see MBFGW 2 when it gets here.
