The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 20

The Good:
I went to a local park and took a different road home, I passed a church I never really stopped to look at and loved this post they had in a outdoor seating area. Such a beautiful thought.

The Random:
This week marked 6 and 4 years since I graduated college and grad school. Crazy to realize it's been that many years and what I've accomplished in those years since!

The Fun:
Thursday was Israel's 68th birthday! We celebrated big at school; it's one of the few days of the year that the entire school k-12 come together. We parade around the block with flags and singing, then in the upper school courtyard the 7th graders perform a daglanut, or flag corps type dance. Then it's whole school celebrating and dancing. Lots of fun celebrating Israel!

Congratulations on your successes and may you have many more. Also, happy birthday Israel. The flag dance must have been very pretty.

Congrats on the school milestone! What a good feeling, I'm sure, to have that behind you! And again - you are a GREAT teacher! :)

You've accomplished so much at a young age! What a cool sign at the church. I love that you guys celebrate Israel's birthday!

Gosh- I can't believe it's been 6 years! That's crazy- it seems like yesterday.

so many celebrations! I don't even want to think about how many years it's been since I graduated.... For some reason it's a positive thing to say this year we are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, but it feels depressing to think it's been 20 years since college graduation.

It's been 16 years since my college graduation. The Israel flags are cool! Our school does a k-12 thing for it also, but we do that a lot, I think!

That does sound like fun. Glad to see there are some occasions for the whole school to come together. Here the only /Je/w/i/s/h/school stops after 8th grade.

You certainly have accomplished much in your short teaching career, and most importantly have ma de a lasting impact on your students that they will carry forward all their lives.
