Summer in the City

There's nothing like summer in the city...
Just happen to be in the greatest city in the world...

{The Schuyler Sisters -- Hamilton}

I went downtown Monday to the Greenway. A lovely park over the major underground highway. I'd been there so many times, but never walked from one end to the other!

I started at the city's Holocaust Memorial. I'm ashamed to say I'd never gone to see it and it's absolutely beautiful. Glass towers engraved with the numbers given to the camp prisoners.

Then I just strolled through the park. There are lovely flowers, splash pads, sculptures, and places to relax.

I hung out on the water at the Boston Harbor Hotel - with its iconic arch way, and then moseyed back to the T.

A great first day of summer in the city!

And! Come link up and join the Good.Random.Fun. each Monday, right here!

Great pictures! I think I've been to that Holocaust Memorial, unless I've been to another than looks similar!

Can't wait as I will be in Boston in a couple of weeks. I am hoping to go to a museum that you featured once here on your blog. Now, if I can just remember which one it was. I used to have it bookmarked, but when I switched computers I lost all my bookmarks. It isn't the Boston Museum but a smaller one. I need to do a google search. Also, hoping to go to Salem this time.
