Little Things: MET

Mom and I headed back into the city during Thanksgiving weekend for a show and some culture at the MET Museum.

One of the exhibitions they currently have is all about Jerusalem from 1000 - 1400. We were both excited to check it out.

But first...I had to stop by the Egypt exhibit because it must be one of my favorite parts of the MET. I fell in love with it all over again being there as the sun went down...gorgeous!

The exhibit was really interesting. Tons of amazing artifacts. So much gold! They had an impressive collection of old books: bibles, qu'rans, and more. It was really interesting to see how Christian the city was in those years!

It was a fun afternoon of culture for sure.

A little "culture-soaking" is always good for the soul. :)
