Let it Snow!

Just when my snow loving heart began to give up hopes of a nice solid snow storm...
Mother Nature delivered a good 8 inches of white puffy goodness over the weekend.

Waking up to that quintessential snow gray sky, watching the flakes begin to fall, and seeing the neighborhood get blanketed in white --- that is what winter is made of!

Snowy weekends are really something else. Already a slower pace. Add some snow. Perfection.

Now if I could get one or two decent snow days from school, I'd really be elated!

You know everyone likes to make fun of us when it comes to winter weather, but I think it's just jealousy. I mean, we don't even have to get snow to have snow days. Brilliant, aye?

Such pretty, snowy shots! We've got a warm up today (record high possibly!?). But more snow is on the way.

Great snow pictures! We haven't had a snow day in the past 2 school years, this is the 3rd year if it continues as it is! It snowed last Thursday and I think they could have canceled but they didn't. And now it's supposed to be icy all weekend but sure enough Monday is a day off anyway!

That's a lot of snow. I think we are up to about 3-4 feet total - but we have the Jan thaw coming by next week & it will feel like spring. I'm so excited!

Those are great shots. When we were traveling Blessing was excited because in D.C. we had a sun snow shower. Lasted five minutes, but still...she saw actual snowflakes!

I was wondering if this storm made you miss school, but apparently not. Maybe next time :)

You crack me up! - Here we've been dying to get rid of all the snow we've had.

Enjoyed your pretty photos though. I especially liked, #2, The Red berries & the Rusty locks. - Also nice fence shots. You should include them on Good Fences today.

I would love to have snow, but don't know if I can handle the cold. Just a few days of it. Love the pics!
