The Grotto

Yesterday, Noam, mom, and I went to the Grotto for some time in nature. The Grotto is a Catholic shrine and botanical garden set on a cliff right in Portland, it was a stunning retreat right in the city limits.
It was so peaceful up on the upper level. We walked the path, walked the labyrinth, and marveled at the blooming plants. I cannot get over how lush and green it was and how calming and serene it was there. A beautiful place to spend some time!

Wow, what an amazing place! It looks so serene and calming. Oh the meditations and day-dreaming that could occur in a place like that! I have never been to Portland, but if I ever I get there, this is on my list to visit!

Beautiful photos and it sounds so peaceful. We have been out in nature this week but it's not so quiet with the whole country on holiday!

Gorgeous! Never been there! I am sad that I am not getting up that way this year, but I know we are going to have many adventures in Germany this upcoming year.
