The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 20

The Good:
It is artichoke season! Savoring these awesome veggies while I can!

The Random:
They're cleaning out the storage unit at school and I rescued this little gem from a future in a landfill...who needs an apple on their desk when you can have a mini-pinata!

The Fun:
We had a great lesson on optimism and pessimism this week. I did a "glass half full/glass half empty" activity and hearing their ideas was so amazing. They really got the idea and had some awesome insights.

That mini pinata really is too cute. You know, I never really got into eating artichokes. I had them at a friend's house, but it felt so... tedious, until you got to the heart.
Have a great week!

That artichoke photo is awesome! I love it. Tell us sometime how you eat a fresh artichoke. I like them marinated from the jar but I wouldn't know what to do with a fresh one.

Great shot of the pretty artichoke. I appreciate artichokes for how they look; not necessarily my favorite veggie, though.

The Artichoke---perfectly captured. The Pinata is a cutie pie. Whether half full or half empty there's always room for something new.
