The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 23

The Good:
The farmer's market is back! Looking forward to a summer of local produce!

The Random:
I finally tried a fidget spinner....yeah...I don't get the hype and I am all for students having fidgets that help them focus. This is a toy. Yup. I said it.

The Fun:
In the teaching world there is "flashlight Friday" when you shut the lights and let the kids read with flashlights. Well...when you and first grade want to do that, but can't find flashlights, you use glow sticks instead! It was a HIT!

My kids love the fidget spinners!! I gave into the hype when my daughter made her own from a ruler, lol. Thanks for hosting :)

The Good is looking good!
The Random, I wish that I had invented it.
The Fun, I'd need a HUGE flashlight.

Yeah- my kids never needed gadgets to keep them entertained. They think those are funny.

We just got fidget spinners! They just give your hands something to do I guess.

Look at those radishes! WOW! I don't get fidget spinners either, but trends are trends and we all had something silly like them when we were growing up--remember "clackers"? Flashlight Fridays is a cool idea and glow sticks make sit even more fun!

Hi Tamar,
My Grand Kids have a Fidget Spinner. I don't get it!
But I'm sure the kids enjoy it. Have a great day!

While I don't like radishes...those do look good! As for the fidget spinners...I read an article about it....basically it is designed to be used as a tool to help those children who suffer with lack of focus. If however, the spinner is not assisting with that aspect; then it is merely just a toy for the child. As for the flashlight...that is neat....I would definitely need a larger light...I'm challenged with the little book lights.!

Great pictures. I don't know anything about the fidget spinners.

That's funny, I used to get in trouble all the time for reading under the covers with a flashlight.

Love the glow stick idea. How fun! Yep- I feel your pain abt the spinners but I guess they could be into worse things. Enjoy those farmer markets. Fresh grown food is the best.

I also don't get the fidget spinner - even as a toy, I don't get the interest. It's like a spinning top for dummies and without the skill involved to balance it

I don't "get" fidget spinnners either. I prefer twirling a pen instead, haha!
