I love all things chestnuts. We found some roasted ones in NYC on Thanksgiving and I was so happy to have this taste of the holiday season!
The Random:
Squirrel! How's that for random the Monday after a holiday weekend?
The Fun:
Street performers are so fun. We stumbled upon this aerial troupe in Central Park and enjoyed their routine. Pretty cool to watch him soar over these men!

The Street Preformers look cool.
The Squirrel is darling (I love squirrels)
Never had a Chesnut, what do they taste like?
The chestnuts looks good! I like the squirrel. Nice action shot on the street!
Oh how wonderful to be in NYC for Thanksgiving! I've never had fresh chestnuts before but I am old enough to remember a man with a little cart selling them in the Salem commons when I was a little girl. My grammy liked them as I remember.
I've never actually had a roasted chestnut but I bet I'd like them. We make a holiday treat called buckeyes that look just like them. Great shot of the squirrel. Those suckers can be fast and hard to catch on camera. We have a lot on campus here where I work. Also amazing catch on the flip shot. You're on fire ;0)
I love squirrels...from afar!
Love that you took a photo of a squirrel! And it's a good, clear photo -- hard to do with these fast-moving little guys!
