I was a bad reader in 2017 (bad teacher, I know) and am already doing better at reading in 2018! I devoured "Wonderstruck" -- cannot recommend it enough!
The Random:
What...your third grade students don't read the Economist in class?
The Fun:
I hit a whole new mileage ball game this weekend! FOURTEEN miles! The start of the run was not good but I settled into a good mental and physical spot by mile 5 and just took off. The John Kelly statue is a popular photo spot on Comm Ave and I naturally had to snag one. Overall training continues to go well.

14 miles! That's super awesome!!
You are doing so great with your training!! I will have to check out that book.
Great job with the running!

Good to see you are reading more - I am finally carving out an hour a week to do the same. Feels good.
There's a movie too but the book as always sounds better, I wish I knew a kid to recommend it to. I think reading the Economist in any grade can be a good thing, but that's funny and congrats, sometimes it takes me a few laps to get into a swim groove but five miles seems like a lot, good for you.
I love reading but I got sidetracked last year and trying to be better about it.
Love the pic with John Kelly statue. Very cool.
Happy Birthday in advance to you as we share the same birthday.
Young at heart and strong in body!
I haven't read 'Wonderstruck', but I see you have 'Call the Midwife' there. I am such a fan of that TV series.
I'm so behind on reading too. It's like I collect more books than I read. Love the shot of you with the John Kelly statue.
