Zen

I escaped from the city at the Portland Japandese Garden. I hadn't been there in ages and it truly is like stepping into another world.
It is so lush and green in there and just so peaceful. I wandered around for nearly two hours. Noticing small and large details. Just enjoying the moment.

Every trip there makes me want to take a trip to Japan!

Such a peaceful place. I must tell my daughter who goes to Portland infrequently. She would love it.

It's one of my favorite places in Portland - It's been years since I've gone.

So beautiful, Tamar! I need to get out into nature more often...if only the treacherous heat wave would break!

Beautiful pictures! We will be in Portland in 3 weeks. I will have to make it a point to visit the gardens. Are they close to the rose gardens?
