Oh my gosh, the name butchering just made me laugh out loud! I have never had much problem with my first name, but my last name has resulted in some pretty good butcherings over the years! My favorite butchering story, however, has to do with my address and arguing with a city tax collector. I lived on Catasauqua Road in Bethlehem, PA...there is a neighboring city named Catasauqua. Well, the Catasauqua tax office was insisting that I owed them Catasauqua city taxes. As I explained to the woman on the phone that I did not live in Catasauqua but rather I lived in the city of Bethlehem, I did not owe them taxes. I made her repeat my full address back to me about 5 times complete with city and state and she simply did not understand that I lived in Bethlehem and only owed Bethlehem city taxes. I finally just hung up on her and tore up the tax bill! She never did grasp what I was explaining.

Beautiful view of the city. Had to laugh at the name butchering. I used to have the last name Roan. Simple, easy name isn't it? Not sure if it is my combo midwest/southern accent that confused them into thinking I was saying Brown or Round. Have a wonderful week!

I can totally relate to getting your name butchered... There had been a few funny ones I got, too.

I love your city views too and sorry about the name butcher. For me it's those automated helper that can't understand what I'm saying. Ugh! Looks like a great group of friends to hang with--fun times!
