Back to School!

Well, here we are.
A new year.
Yesterday marked the first day of a new school year.
A new crop of kids.
A new group to learn to love and shape.
New adventures.
There is a new year full of promises ahead.
I'm ready to enjoy the ride!

The way you describe your feelings about the start of the year was always how I felt, even though I taught high schoolers rather than 3rd graders. Have a great year!

Thank you for those lovely back to school images!
My husband taught third grade for 25 years before moving on to a math interventionist position. It's a great age!

I wish you a terrific year at school! The beginnings are always so hopeful, bright and shiny! The schools here are so poor they are talking about going to a 4 day week. OMG what are we coming to?

You make school seem like a LOT of fun with all your bright colors and the cheerful attitude, even after the erasers turn into nubs and crayon tips get broken. It must be hard to watch the kids leave each year.
