High Line

Mom and I walked the High Line many many years ago on Thanksgiving and decided to stroll it again on our way to the Whitney Museum. Such a great use of urban space and design.
The reds and greys and more industrial feel of this part of the city draw me in. No glitz, no lights, no glam. But brick and steel and rusty bits. Probably one of my favorite parts of NYC.

I have never been there but I agree with you about not liking the glam and bright lights as much as the older more industrial and rustier bits.

So beautiful in its own way. I'm drawn to city scenes, which is ridiculous, because I'd be lost in no time!

Wow, Tamar! What a cool place. I am not familiar with the High Line and I worked in NYC for 10 years. I am going to definitely add this my bucket list.

I’d love to walk the highline ....didn’t exist the last time we visited NYC, which tells you something I’m a little sad about.

It's always neat to see parts of a city that we rarely see. I've visited New York a couple of times but of course saw practically nothing compared to how much there is to see!

I need to walk the high line some day. It's still on my list!
