I just love these! They always make me laugh... and miss being in the classroom just a bit. Not that my boys aren't funny either. Yesterday my 7th grader told me he was done his math; I went to check it and said "what about the top? You forgot all these questions!" He looked over my shoulder, paused, shrugged and in the most sarcastic voice ever replied "No one ever needs to do the top!"

So funny. I love reading about all the funny thinks kids say. When my son was really little (2 or 3), when he sang the alphabet, instead of singing... k, l, m, n, o, p... he's sing "h, i, j, k, I'm a little p"

The little girl in the first story obviously has Cardinals confused with Eagles! :)

I was reading a book about Martin Luther King Jr to my daughter's 1st grade class today. One little boy told he knew who he was: our first president. :) I love kids.

Taught third grade for 25 years - this sounds so familiar, I want to go back! Thank you!
