The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 5

The Good:
Last Monday, while I recovered, I used Uber Eats to order my monthly gf donut from Kane's. I have never felt so lazy and satisfied at once!

The Random:
Boston got hit by the polar vortex last week and real feel temps were around -20F. The upper school hung these signs up on the doors to the play yard since I guess we can't guess middle and high schoolers to make smart choices!

The Fun:
I finished off this gorgeous zodiac jigsaw puzzle in two days while home recovering! A nice change of pace from Netflix binging!

Having hosted my 16 year olds friends for a BBQ last night, I can absolutely confirm that you cannot assume that middle and high schoolers will make smart choices! Hope you enjoyed those doughnuts.

Sometimes the lazier were are at certain moments, the more satisfying it is! I hope you really thoroughly enjoyed your lazy recovery day donut, my friend!

Good for you being a little lazy while recovering. It was definitely dr. ordered and well deserved!

When we visited my sister and BIL in Florida we binge-watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel AND helped my sister put together a 2000 piece puzzle. How's that for multitasking?

And now I want a donut.

Glad you are feeling better, Tamar!

Love that yummy donut and pretty puzzle--happy that your temperatures are back to normal--that was too cold!

Hmm.. we may need your help; we started a puzzle a few weeks ago and so far we have the border done! No one has wanted to work on it lately so it just sits there.

I'm so glad you are recovering well and things are getting back to normal. I have never tried Uber Eats, but it looks like you found a smart way to get your monthly treat! Hope things have warmed up in your area. We are in the 70s this week...I am not happy.

Hope you're all recovered and kept warm. So the kids didn't get out of school altogether? I think ours had four days in a row off. Ordered a donut by Uber, ha, ha, well you certainly deserve it. That game kind of sucked, yes or nay?

Oh love your puzzle shot and Brrr! I know it was super cold back there last week. Glad you all stayed save indoors. Too funny abt the donut delivery but also great idea!

I have felt for all of those who got slammed by the vortex...the weather has truly been a little crazy. Meanwhile, out here in the South - our weather remains a bit bi-polar. AC one day...Heater the next. Stay warm...and that donut looks yummy!

I love jigsaw puzzles! That's a great activity for your recovery and for the cold weather when you had to stay in. The donut looks so yummy!
