Today is election day.
Never in my 32 years has an election felt so consequential.
This is beyond political parties.
This is the future of America.
This election is about the soul of our nation.
My rights matter.
Black lives matter.
A woman has the right to control their body.
Marriage equality matters.
Science is a thing.
Climate change is real.
Health care is a right.
Civility matters.
In 2016 the stakes felt huge.
Today they feel monumental.
I hope we soon feel like we've righted the ship and rediscovered our moral compass.

This Canadian will be eagerly awaiting the election results along with you. I just hope the final decision doesn't take too long.
I would love to have some of those buttons. They say a lot about the image Joe is trying to project.
Regardless of who wins, let us pray for peace in our nation and wisdom for the president who will be guiding our country for the next four years.

You perfectly and eloquently described how I'm feeling right now! Love those buttons!
Totally agree and love the buttons.
Wishing you luck. It's crazy that in the 21st century, you need to be saying 'Science is real' and arguing for health...
Very nice buttons. I like them. Thanks for hosting.
We live across the street from a polling location (today only - not an early voting spot) and it was busy all day!
Australia wits to hear the result. Stay safe.
I'm on pins and needles. Democracy or fascism... which will it be?
