The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 49

The Good:
Our first graders received their first siddur (prayer book) this week. Their teachers created a 100% COVID safe event, outside, on our gorgeous grounds. It was below freezing, but the joy in the air warmed us all up!

The Random:
These caught my eye in the freezer case and at first glance, I thought it was topped with bacon bits, which confused me bc it's a strictly kosher company. Upon closer inspection...cranberries!

The Fun:
We did our first drive-through holiday lights at the Kensico Dam - so pretty!

Wow, that must have been cold, but how wonderful that you managed to pull it off!

Ooh, the lights are so pretty! We have a really go light show on the water but it's about an hour away. We are contemplating making the trip soon!

Wonderful to see how educators are making good things happen in spite of everything!

How beautiful the tunnel is! We have a Galaxy of Lights display here each year in our botanical gardens, but the lines are so long that it's hardly worth it anymore. It became too popular. ha.

I was reminded just yesterday how kids, when they are engaged, don't feel the cold. My 6-year-old grandson only relented to leave the playground (after 2.5 hours) when I told him I had to go home to get warmed up! :)

Love the tunnel of light photo!

So much to love here. Even though it was chilly, it looks beautiful!! And I love the idea of drive thru lights! But aren't cranberries kosher? And if not, why not? (Asking, I've no idea about these things)

The drive-thru holiday lights look spectacular. Wow! I've never seen anything like it.

What is that dairy-free/gluten-free item you found? Your thumb in the picture is over the description. Looks like something I might try since I don't do dairy.
