1 more day.
1 more day of this chapter of US History.
Tomorrow we get a new president and vice president.
Ones we deserve.
Ones who will go to bat for each and every American.
Ones who know the Constitution and will uphold it.
Tomorrow morals and values will be more important than ratings and influence.
Our country is wounded. Our democracy is on life support.
Tomorrow though, tomorrow we turn the corner. We start to emerge from the woods.
Tomorrow I watch an upstanding mensch who has given his life to public service become our president.
Tomorrow I watch the glass ceiling shatter as a woman takes the oath of the vice presidency.
Tomorrow I will breathe a little easier and trust that those in power in DC care about me and those around me.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Welcome 46.

Dave has been counting down the hours. Deep breaths.
Big sigh of relief.
...talk about messed up times!
Yep, hopefully things will change in this country. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Well said, Tamar! I am cautiously optimistic.

As I watch from Australia I wish you a peaceful transition, and a better world. Take care. and stay safe.
So hard to know what to say when one's opinion of the matter differs. My focus will be to continue to pray for our country and our leaders just as I did the out going leaders. We may not agree on political beliefs but God is still in control.
