The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 6

The Good:
Book 2 for 2021! I put this on my list in June and it was a powerful read. Highly recommend.

The Random:
I started doodling in a meeting the other day and by the end of it, I looked down and I had a menagerie!

The Fun:
At freshman welcome week at AU they handed each of us a notecard and told us to write ourselves a letter that we would get on graduation day. I finally, 10 years later, framed the card and envelope to hang with my diplomas in my home office. It came out so great!

That book looks great, Tamar! I love your doodles. And what a cool idea to frame your letter to yourself! Have a great week, my friend.

I will put that book on my TBR list!

Cute animal doodles

Framing your letter was a great idea and continued inspiration to yourself of your goals.

I found The Hate U Give to a powerful book too! It really helped put things in context that have been going on the past several years in real life. What a fun idea to frame your card (and to write it in the first place)!

I love those doodles. Do you keep them or throw them out? It would be fun to look back on the collection at the end of the month or year!

Your doodles are so cute! I haven't read the book but I've seen the movie and it was so good! I love that note that you wrote yourself and how you've now framed it all together. So special!

The Hate You Give definitely has a title that tugs at me. I hope your week is off to a good start, Tamar.

Super cute animal menagerie. I saw the movie based on that book and it was done really well. Love the idea of framing the note to yourself from freshman year in college.
