After a year's delay because of COVID, the NYBG was finally able to bring Yayoi Kusama's breathtaking exhibit to the gardens. I had the ability to see one of her infinity rooms in Boston a few years ago and was so excited to see more or her stunning, creative, and larger-than-life works.
Each and every piece was just so fun and amazing. Giant flowers towering over colorful tulips. A flower obliteration room. Polka dot-wrapped trees. Floating silver orbs. A giant tarantula-esque pumpkin. We walked for hours taking in each piece and plan to go back a few times before it leaves in the fall!
