Immersive experiences are all the rage these days! NY's latest one is a fun floral twist on fall out on Long Island. A section of the Queens County Farm Museum is filled with colorful, floral displays. The initial posts on Instagram that I saw made it seem like it was more of a real floral type thing, but it was all synthetic displays and such.
While it was all really pretty, it was a little bit of a letdown. I am more into the real nature exhibits and this was clearly all for the 'gram so to speak. I lucked out going on a weekday so at least it was quiet and I was able to explore the farm after I was done in the exhibit. An experience for sure but now I need some real fall to fill my autumn-loving soul.

I hear you. Sometimes I just look at one tree, vivid and luminescent in the sunshine, and it fills me up with autumn.
I'll be back when the link opens!
This would have been AH-MAZING if it were all real flowers. However, I also understand how it would be hard to keep it up with real flowers -- some flowers would likely have to be changed every day. I see both sides of it...
...pumpkins aren't just orange anymore.
Flowers do my heart good! Love seeing these beautiful photos.
It's still pretty!
I agree that this would be a much cooler exhibit using real flowers, but I imagine the maintenance would be difficult with real flowers and the staying power would be much shorter as well. Even with the fake flowers, it is a really cool and colorful display! I love the one with the colorful pumpkins! Thanks for sharing these fun photos, my friend.

That's a bummer about it being fake flowers and such. I loved that rainbow pumpkin house!
Gorgeous colors! Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend.
How beautifully colorful! Love it!
Those flowers are so beautiful!... but I know what you mean about it being better if it's more authentic.
This post made me so happy- I love all the bright colours!! Have a great weekend:)
I'm with you. I'd have been let down. But so colorful!
