Kaleidoscope of Color

Brookfield Place has a new gorgeous art installation called "Hymn to the Big Wheel.” The rainbow piece is by artist Liz West and is an immersive work that plays with the illusion and physical nature of color and natural light.
The technicolor octagon currently sits on the promenade along the Hudson River. It was just so beautiful and simple, yet so striking. Little kids were having a blast scootering around inside the shape and flying down the ramp. Every which way you move around it allowed new colorful views! A bright spot as we begin to transition into darker months.

I love the color in this! Ryan and I walked through a glass piece out in Kansas City a few years ago, but it was all clear; I love the color part of this!
