Queen's Museum

I finally checked out the Queen's Museum a few weekends ago. It's in the former UN building opposite the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows in...well...Queen's! It's a small museum but a beautiful space and filled with some famous pieces.

The most famous exhibit is the massive Panorama of the City of New York. One of the exhibits at the 1964 World's Fair. It was so amazing - it strikes you just how big NYC is and just how small Manhattan is compared to the other burroughs. There is a permanent collection of World's Fair memorabilia and there was a neat exhibit about Tiffany lamps.

A fun little gem in this massive city.
