The Big Apple now has a big Bean! Anish Kapoor, the artist behind the famed Chicago Bean has a new work in Tribeca. It's located beneath the funky Jenga Tower and seems to be squashed by the building.
This is the first piece by Anish Kapoor to be installed in NYC and it's already a pretty popular stop along Broadway!

We lived in Chicagoland area for a few years but moved before the bean there was in place. It is a popular attraction and I'm certain the one in NYC will be loved just as much.
Very appealing to move the bean into such an interesting situation instead of simply freestanding as in Chicago. I like it!
