Pulse Portal

The latest art installation at Brookfield Place is a colorful stunner. "Pulse Portal" by Davis McCarty is a striking iridescent installation out on the Waterfront Plaza. The main piece is an archway built from NASA-developed materials where colors transform as the angle of the sun transits through space. The vibrant colors represent the diversity of humankind and celebrate the individual spark living inside in each of us.
I was there late afternoon and the setting sun put on a dazzling colorful show through the archway. There are two other pieces on the plaza too and they all light up at night as well! It's on display for a few more weeks before it heads to a new location.
