Prank

There is a whimsical art exhibit in City Hall Plaza Park in lower Manhattan. There are 7 sculptures by artist Phyllida Barlow. They are the final pieces created before her passing in March. There is a mix of iron and fiberglass and at times they seem to defy gravity or melt into the metal.
Throughout the park, seven different “rabbit ear” formations balance on top of stacked pieces of furniture and everyday structures: workbenches piled up at odd angles, cabinets accumulated with doors open, a stack of chairs that forms a wonky column. It was really fun to see these pieces and a fun pup of creativity in the city park and not the typical type of public art!

Super cool! I love when artists repurpose old junk into art! This is an amazing installation!
