Strolling the MET

It had been too long since I strolled through the MET! I recently learned that members can go in early on the weekends and enjoy quieter galleries before the rush of the usual crowds. I really felt like I had the place to myself for a bit!!
I try to explore new nooks and galleries each time I go - this time I explored the Greek pottery which was so fun since I loved learned about that in school. I also enjoyed the recently renovated Arts of Oceania and Ancient America they opened up the gallery and made it so much brighter to showcase the art.

The MET is about to undertake a massive renovation, expanding the modern wing -- can't wait for that!

It must have been so nice to have the MET to yourself! It's always been so busy when I'm there.

How funny, I visited a lot of the same spaces when they were much more crowded!
