Canstruction 2025

After missing Canstruction last year, I made sure to get down to Brookfield Place to see the masterpieces this year! Once again, in a partnership with City Harvest, engineers, contractors, and architects were challenged to create works of art out of canned goods. The creations this year were so amazing and super creative!
My favorites were the capybaras, the bunny in the magician's hat, and pizza rat! There were a few nods to the upcoming North American-hosted World Cup and some a "RIP" to the MTA's MetroCard, which is now extinct.

It is truly amazing what you can do with some cans and creativity. Given the current food insecurity crisis that many Americans are facing this year, it is nice to know that these works of art will go on to help feed those are in need. Works of art to acts of love and kindness thanks to City Harvest!

Neat idea and a great way to combine art and charity. Although I'm surprised that no one did an orange can art depiction of Trump...since his administration is doing their utmost to exacerbate food insecurity.
