Please keep my city in your thoughts and prayers.
Less then 24 hours ago, one of the best days in the city was ruined by a heinous act.
I am okay, I wasn't even watching the race this year, and everyone I know who ran is safe.
But, it is so scary to realize it happened a mere 2 miles from my home. In my city. To my "neighbors."
Please keep everyone up here in your thoughts and prayers, it is scary to have this happen in your back yard.
Everyone I know who ran is safe and I am safe, but we are all scared and shaken.
We're a tough city and will move forward, but just send the white light to the Hub please.

Such a rough day. Grateful for all the city servants and medical workers that surround us. Glad you and yours are well.
ReplyDeleteWhen I heard I immediately thought of you and was so glad to see your post on IG that you were okay. Lots of prayers for Boston today!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you are safe! Praying for Boston!
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking about you and everyone else in the Boston area. All I can say is they don't call you Patriots for nothing :).
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you and your friends are OK. Praying for Boston -- so heartbreaking. As Mr. Rogers said, look for the helpers. Love that some people ran across the finish line and went immediately to donate blood. The good can't be conquered!
ReplyDeletephew, tamar. so sorry. i think we all take it personally, that anyone would do this to "our" city, but i'm sure it is SO scary when you live RIGHT there.
ReplyDeletepraying for you and for them and for us.

ReplyDeleteI am certainly praying already. I'm so glad you were unharmed. I truly don't understand this kind of evil act.
ReplyDeleteOh Tamar, thank you for lettings us know you are not injured, physically anyway. What a nightmare. I am so sorry. This horrid, senselessness needs to STOP. I'm crying right along with you. (BIG HUG)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! So glad you are safe. I was thinking of you yesterday. I will keep praying.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you are safe, but I can't even begin to imagine how you must feel knowing this happened so close to home :( I'm still shocked when I catch glimpses of the footage on TV.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you all day, Tamar...I'm so relieved that you and yours are okay, but how frightening to have that happen so close to home. God bless...
ReplyDeleteI am glad you and your friends are okay. As I spoke with my daughter today, it is one thing to see these types of horrific events on TV, but when it is immediate and relative to something you are experiencing, the terror is even more amplified.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers to those suffering and the Boston area as a whole.
