I see tree people...

Before heading back to Boston after Thanksgiving break, mom, Avi, Noam, and I headed up to the Katonah Art Museum to see their "Tree People" exhibit. It's an amazing exhibit of, well, trees made to look like people, abstract people, but people none the less.
They were just stunning and huge! The details and size of the sculptures was simply amazing.
There were 3 large sculptures in the garden on the museum and the light was shining through the trees and highlighting their size and beauty.
Noam was pretty impressed by there size, he kept looking up at the giant trees and his eyes were wide with wonder.
He wandered over to one of the tree people and just looked up. Then he thought it would be fun to pic a tree fungus off the tree. My nephew, defacing art, I suppose I shouldn't be proud of that...
Noam was also showing off his walking skills on the rocky surface. Love this montage, it looks like one foot is nailed down and he is walking in a circle!
From every angle the tree people were amazing. Although Noam photo bombed me, guess he thought I wasn't taking enough pictures of him!
The two sculptures outside the museum has the most amazing faces. Just amazing!
And of course Noam and I soaked up every last moment together before I left to come back to Boston. He is a gem and I cannot wait to spend a week with him over my winter vacation!

I adore those series with Noam... just adorable when they are learning to walk and getting into everything - but still little enough to appreciate a shoulder ride! :)

Fascinating art. The faces have such detail, and seeing Noam in scale with them-wow. And he is definitely a cutie.
