I jumped on the Project Life bandwagon a bit late. At first I thought I'd display my Project 366 pics in another Apple photo book, like I did in 2009, but I decided this was different and more interesting!
I love the kit I went with - it's the Amber kit. I am not a huge pink/green fan, but the colors are really fun and go well with the pics I have taken so far!Of course, since I was late to the party, I had to wait for the pocket pages to be restocked, so in the meantime, I ordered my pics - I am doing monthly snapfish uploads, since I prepay for tons of pics on that site.
To pass the time, I also laid out how I wanted may weeks so far to look and prewrote the journal cards. Which made me so excited to get the pocket pages and get it really put together!
They finally came last weekend - and I love, love, love how it looks! I am doing a mix of horizontal and vertical pics so I ordered a mixed pack of pages.
I love the journaling cards - they designs are so fun and add a little something extra to this year's memories!
I also like being able to write more about each picture. In the Apple books, I had three or four words. Now I can really elaborate!
I haven't really decided if I'll use the included stickers - I did have some fun on the journaling card for my birthday though!
Since I am only doing once monthly photo orders, I have found some great ways to keep myself organized! I am keeping a word document with a blurb about each day, I have a 366 album in my iphoto with each picture, and I am filling out each week's journaling cards every weekend so at the end of the month all I have to do is pop my pics into the proper places!
I am so in love with this album already! Can't wait to finish filling it up!

Good for you, Tamar. I love it!
What an accomplishment you will look back upon when all is completed. Good luck!
I used to be an avid scrapbooker! ut then I started homeschooling - well, now I have no time for my interests. But this, I think I could totally do, if everything is there for you and you just have to slip it in!
Great pages! I had fallen behind on photo albums and finally sat down and worked for an entire weekend...no more photos laying around in piles! What a wonderful feeling!
Gosh, every since Deb showed us this I keep thinking this might be the one I could keep up on....of course I haven't ordered anything yet!
How fun!
LOVE! I've been loving seeing everyone's project life stuff... I haven't jumped on that bandwagon... I'm just not sure I have that kind of dedication!
Lots of people have joined in on this... looks like fun, but I know me and I wouldn't stay up on it. Love how yours is looking though. :)
YAY for you!!!!!!!!!!! I am such a slacker. I have been meaning to do this for about a year.
Yay Tamar!!! Your pages look awesome! I love how you're mixing up the vertical and horizontal pics. I hardly ever take vertical pics so I'm sticking with horizontal except for inserts. And I love how you documented your birthday with the self portrait, the candle and the number stickers. It sounds like you've found a good system for keeping up. I'm so glad you took the plunge!
wow, youre making me feel like a major slacker!!! love what you've got so far :D keep it up.
This is so great! Something you are going to cherish. I wish I had your motivation! :)
Oh, I'll definitely have to check this out. You have me really interested!
This looks great Tamar! I love the layout you've chosen. I wouldn't normally choose green & pink either but it looks fantastic! You will have some wonderful memories once the year is over :)
wow..good for you!! this is fabulous!! what a great way to reflect on life and remember how blessed you are!!
How fun! I love scrapbooking so much. Glad you're enjoying it :)
This looks amazing! What a great way to remember your year :)
I bought the same amber core kit! But I use mine as accent pieces for my regular scrapbook. Do you print your photos at a photo lab or at home?
My sister LOVES project life. I have a separate family blog that is something like my online project life, but I have thought about doing the actual photo book too!
