Light and Brown

I took a walk on Saturday afternoon up to the top of the biggest hill here in town, fittingly called Summit Ave. I thought I would get good views into Boston, but the angle of the hill wasn't right. but the light coming through the trees was too good to pass up for some photos.
Then I stumbled upon a dried out hydrangea basked in the setting sun, so pretty.
It was a nice reminder, that even in these season where most living things have turned brown, there is still beauty all around.

This light is yummy, golden, and hazy! The light coming through the branches is wonderful. Glad you stopped to capture it.

I have to say that I LOVE the beauty at this time of year...the subtle color, the tones of beige and brown, the trees silhouetted against the sky! These are beautiful - the light was a gift, and you captured it so well!

Sounds like you had a nice afternoon walk! The wind and rain around these parts would have destroyed that flower!
