Scav Hunt Sunday: Sunlight and Strings

Daylight:
Caught the daylight streaming in through a street lamp in the South End.

Pot of Gold:
Well, a pot of golden tea at a local bakery and tea shop.

Irish:
Nothing more Irish than a trip to Ireland, right?

Clover:
Best I can do considering there was snow on the ground until two days ago...

Lucky:
The red string? In Kabbalah, some people believe that wearing a red string, that comes from a sacred location in Israel, can help ward off the "evil eye" - while it doesn't bring luck per say, it can help absorb negative energy. A spiritual good "luck"charm I guess.

love the light in the south end...if it's in the south end it must be Irish right? Aren't you glad that the snow is gone now!

I need me one of those red strings! Like the POV on your daylight shot (I just like daylight in general). Are you going to get to travel to Ireland? that would be awesome. Happy day Tamar.

Very enjoyable set.
It was interesting to read about the red string in your Lucky shot.
I liked your idea for Irish as Ireland is on my "bucket list" of places to visit.
Neat shot for your Pot of Gold.

I totally understood the red string before reading it. I think if one is into Madonna or aware of her beliefs, she wears them, too! In my culture (I am Hmong), we do similar things, too! We wore a red string throughout my Grandma's funeral and at the end, we burned it off with for good spirits/luck.

My boyfriend is Irish, hoping one day we'd get to visit. Such beautiful land & culture!
