Song-ography: Brave

Say what you wanna say and let the words fall out...
Honestly, I wanna see you be brave...

Cards on the table.

In recent months, I have been brave and finally found the courage to say some things I had needed to say. It's required a bravery I didn't think I had and at times still question if I am brave enough to keep my cards on the table and say what I need to say.

Time will tell, but I am learning to be brave in new ways.

I like the visual image! Good for you saying a few things that need to be said! It's hard to do! I know I have way more conversations in my head than ever make it out of my mouth. ;). I think there is an art to saying what you need to say without lots of emotion or unkindness that makes it easy to be heard, but hard to do!

Tamar, this is a great take on "brave." I would never have come up with something this creative. Good for you, and thank you for the reminder. I do have a REALLY hard time laying my cards on the table :)

Oh Tamar...THIS is why I love visiting all the interpreations and creativity for each week's Song-ography! "Cards on the Table"....brilliant! Love this interpretation. MY problem is NOT putting all my cards on the table, haha. Sometimes pulling them back is an act of bravery too. Thanks for joining in at Song-ogoraphy.

What a cool interpretation of "saying" what you need to say. Part of growing up and I must admit, something that I have struggled with. Seems that when you do, it gives you strength and freedom. Rock on.

Putting it out there, laying your cards on the table is indeed brave. You strike me as a very brave young lady - but it just goes to show that in each and every one of us, we have our own personal challenges that call upon us to dig deep to be brave. Excellent post.
