Song-ography: Hazy Days

Look around...
Leaves are brown...
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter...

This week was a mix of sun, clouds, snow, rain, fog, and overall winter dreariness. We had a "warm up" - we hit a lovely 38 on Friday (pull out the sandals). Friday was particularly dreary. A "warm up" coupled with rain and a lot of snow equaled a load of fog.

There is something quite mystifying and gorgeous about a fog rising from the snow covered Charles River (at least, I think the river is under there). It did my weather weary soul good to find some beauty in the haze and fog and mist. Winter is far from over - a new challenge is to find the beauty in the cold and hazy everyday.

I love fog for atomospheric photos. The bridge shot is my fave. I don't so much like fog for my mood however.
Happy Sunday Tamar.

Fog is beautiful and makes everything a bit more thrilling. :-)

Love the bridge photo...the steel gray against the fog is the perfect depiction of Winter. However, I do believe I see tiny buds on that tree!! Spring is coming :)

Great photos. The middle one with the water droplets on the tree branches is lovely.
The last one of the bridge is so interesting and the "hazy" fog is perfect. - Had to laugh at your (get the sandals) comment. We've only warmed up to the mid-40's but think that's almost tropical compared to earlier in the month.

We had fog this week too, but by the time it moved in it was so dark I couldn't grab a shot....I love your foggy shots!!

Winter is far from over - said everyone who lives in our part of the world, eh?
At least today the sun is shining & the snow is somewhat melting………a promise of spring is in the air!
Happy new week Tamar!

These are so nice! Love the bridge. I do, however, feel badly for the cold coming your way. After our taste of spring, I've gone off winter for the year.

The bridge shot is my favorite -- I've seen that bridge and it's intriguing. You have had quite a winter. Hope you have a good (warmer?) week!

Not much longer. We've had some amazing days - mid-50s to mid-60s - which isn't too bad since we started the week with snow (as I recall - it's getting hard to keep up). Tonight there is a chance of snow, tomorrow, 50s, then rain, some more snow and eventually 60 (between now and Wednesday). Perhaps hazy - but never dull.

Lovely shots.
