The Good. The Random. The Fun. v.1.7

The Good:
I had another (yes, another) productive snow day. Even though it was nasty outside, I got to stay home, see this outside my window, and tackle a ton of chores. Win. Win.

The Random:
One of my favorite winter traditions is to have an amaryllis blooming in my apartment. Mom bought me this one last month and it bloomed this week - but it is the shortest one I have ever seen! Usually I need to take the stem to keep it upright. This one is so pretty and petite!

The Fun:
Udi's Gluten Free sent me a box full of goodies to try. Some products were new to me and others are favorites of mine!
I was stoked to get more tortillas (best gf ones out there in my opinion) and some granola bars (great for post-workout refueling). I hadn't tried the Harvest Crunch muffins and continue to be impressed by their muffins, solid, but not overly heavy like some GF ones.

The Ancient Gran crisps are super amazing. They were an excellent addition to my hummus lunch this week. Also - loving the Cherry Walnut granola - tasted great on top of my yogurt this week.

The Maple cookies - amazing. Soft, but sturdy and so flavorful. Thanks Udi's!!

Your "Good" is beautiful - but considering how much "good" you all have had this winter, I'm sure it has lost some of the luster. Love all the GF products you got - I like getting reviews on these types of products for future reference. Have a great week Tamar.

Yay for a productive snow day and for the winter break! Hopefully you won't be coupled up the entire time, but knocking out some tasks is always good.

I've had no luck with my amaryllis this year -- great to see you got some color on yours. :)

Things blooming inside...I'm needing the color and the promise of spring! {even as I continue to enjoy every snow fall!}

I have to agree, I have never seen one so short either, especially here in Florida☺ There is something so divine in having flowers in the home.

We have another snow day today too. Ironically, it was supposed to be a make up day for an earlier snow day.

I actually did a post to participate today, but I can't get it linked up. I'll check back later to see if I can get to the linky.

I have to admit, I have been liking these snow days - I get so much done when I'm housebound. Your amaryllis is so pretty - and what a fund surprise to get all those goodies!

Productive days are always a win win...and yes that is the shortest Amaryllis I have ever seen! ;)

Productive days are great! I need to have them more often. :) Love your snowy tree photo! We have an amaryllis this year too. It grew to about 2 feet tall before blooming! It didn't last very long though. Only a few days. :( Yay for yummy gf foods!

Thanks, again, for hosting!

Cool shot of the icy trees and so nice you have a nice flower blooming inside to brighten things up. Stay warm and safe.
