Nothing beats a nice warm bowl of soup on a cold night. And nothing can beat a bowl of chowder (pronounced: chowd-ah in these here parts) on a snowy New England night.
Last week, as we stared down the barrel of another (yes, another) snowy day, I knew I had to make the tilapia chowder Avi introduced to me.
This comes together so easily and is not heavy by any means - delicious and guilt free is my idea of a good meal, yes? Yes.
I find that the longer it cooks - the better it is. Leftovers, are amazing - but good luck making it last that long!

Yumm! I love corn and potato chowder!! The addition of the tilapia is interesting! I make a clam chowdah but it's not "light" at all..just for special occasions and parties. This is perfect! We got some more snow over the weekend but luckily not as much as you guys did.
That sounds good, I make a corn chowder almost just like this, but will for sure have to try it with the Talapia!

I love chowders, or any type of soup really, but my husband isn't a big fan. So I tend not to make them, but almost always order them at a restaurant.
