On the edge

Live life on the edge. It's always been a motto of mine. Right now, we're on the edge of seasons.
The cold is slowly loosening its grip, the city is slowly shaking off the frost that's held on for so long.
The ice is thinning and the day light lingering longer each day.
I've always been a winter girl. But this year, this year I am in the edge, so ready for spring to appear.
So ready to soak up the sun. So ready to not want to hide from the (wind)chill.
Live life on the edge, has always been one of my mottos, but right now I think "patience is a virtue" will get me through to spring time.

That lovely little sun flare in the last shot makes it look like fireworks in celebration of Spring.
Blessings!

Love your pics! I, too, am looking forward to spring. We have had a taste of it the past 2 days but tomorrow winter is expected to return. Hopefully it will be a short stay. :)

I'm SO ready too! We got a little taste of it today but I'm afraid it won't last.

You must be SO ready to welcome spring. I'm noticing more flowers growing wild by the sides of the roads -- I love spring!

I can't wait for spring and clear blue skies either! It's been damp and chilly these past few days here...

It might take you all a little bit longer to thaw out than us - but I can completely appreciate the sentiment. I especially like that shot with the cityscape in the background.

I feel for our Northerners at this stage of the season. I'm wishing you balmy winds to blow the last of the frozen right on out. Maybe it is time to head to TJ for some pretty flowers to tie you over. We are returning to damp and cool for the next few days. :(

We didn't have a proper winter this year here in Finland. Quite boring but it's nice that spring is near!! :)

Oh wow, where to begin. Gorgeous! And it looks like you are going to have a lot more gorgeous in the coming months.

Such pretty glimpses! I could use some of that snow over here, where everything is hot and covered in a thick layer of hazy smoke from farmers burning the mountains to prepare for the next harvest of mushrooms. Our noses and lungs are not having any fun!

And spring is about to begin! I love how the season round to make the surrounding more beautiful and profound! You brought a good glimpse of winter to spring as I feel the wind rinse in my skin. Thanks for sharing!
